The Dream Theatre by John Gitsham is an Art Photography collection in Black and White. “In our Dreams we journey into the mystery and the imagination of the known and the unknown, the darkest corners and recesses of our minds. … We dream when we are asleep and when we are awake we day-dream, some may be nightmares or recurring strange events. Accept them and embrace them, they are the visual stories of our lives and make us who we are … “

John Gitsham is an Art Photographer and lives in the Adelaide Hills. He has been doing photography for 50 years. The images in this collection are a combination of 45 years of John’s work from the late 1970’s to 2020.

Description

In our Dreams we journey into the mystery and the imagination of the known, and the unknown, the darkest corners and recesses of our mind. Even when we are awake, life can be a mysterious journey, a blur of images, anxieties, not knowing what is around the corner, facing our fears and phobias ', taking each day as it's presented to us. We dream when we are asleep and when we are awake we day-dream, some may be nightmares or recurring strange events, accept them and embrace them, they are the visual story of our life and make us who we are ... These images are a combination of 45 years of work from the late 1970's to 2020. Some are shot on film and others are digital images. He uses Nikon DSLR's, FujifilmX100T, Hassleblad 500c and 500cm, Linhof Technika 4x5 and Cambo 4x5 cameras for his Art Photography.
