This delightful new picture book from Cohn Thiele tells the story of Billy Bilby inviting his bush friends around for a barbecue. Written in rhyming verse the reader is introduced to various Australian native animals as they arrive, starting with one "Cuscus in a warm fur coat" through to "Ten Bandicoots next nosed about". Not all of Billy’s friends are well behaved leading to a confrontation with Scrooge Grumble, the farmer next door.
