Jane Godwin has written many books for children. Little Cat and the Big Red Bus is based on a common experience told to Jane by children in schools across Australia - that of drifting off to sleep on the bus heading home after a long day at school. Anna Walker's illustrations have appeared in magazines, on greeting cards and albums for the past twelve years. Anna has also illustrated several children's books. For Little Cat and the Big Red Bus, Anna drew on her own experience of being the smallest on the bus!
